Introducing The Viet Celts Scholarship, in partnership with Blue Dragon
Currently, only 58% of children complete upper secondary school and just 35% go on to third level education.
Tuition fees and basic living costs can be prohibitive for a large number of people in Hanoi, excluding them from the chance to better their situation and leaving them trapped in the poverty cycle.
As a club, we have the chance to change two of our young players' lives by removing financial barriers for them and giving them the chance to achieve their dreams. The Viet Celts Scholarship will see two of our young players receive the costs necessary to complete 4 years of education. We will choose one suitable player from our Gaelic4Girls team and one from our Blue Dragon boys team.
It costs just over €50 to cover their tuition fees, textbooks, stationery, health insurance, and provide a basic living allowance for a month.
