From Trang,
There is a big question we should ask ourselves: What can we do to live a meaningful life and to make a better world?
I first heard about Blue Dragon Vietnam from a friend, Jake Norris, who is living a meaningful life and helps changing the world in actions. In 2024, Jake and his friend, Sean, walked 2000km from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City to raise funds for Blue Dragon to support their incredible work in protecting street children, giving them access to education and chances for a brighter future. Their mission is also on ending horrific human trafficking! Many women and children were saved and returned to their families which is heart warming!
Inspired by Jake's incredible effort and Blue Dragon's beautiful work, I also want to take action for my birthday this year and make it a significant one. My friend Hunter and I will be walking a long distance in Saigon to fundraise for Blue Dragon with the hope to create positive impacts to people's lives. Your generous donation is the biggest gift to us and more importantly to the vulnerable people to have a chance for a better life. Much love and gratitude to all.
From Hunter,
I first became connected with Blue Dragon while living in Hanoi. I was immediately blown away by the vast amount of work they do to protect survivors of human trafficking and the underprivileged, especially those in rural communities.
"It takes a village" and Blue Dragon consistently provides that village to those most vulnerable. Unfortunately a lot of their funding comes from USAID, and as that hangs in a delicate balance, kind donations continue to fuel their crucial work.
That's why for my birthday this year, I'm going to brave the Saigon heat by walking many miles, in hopes that you will donate to this incredible foundation. While my feet will ache and my back will feel like it's breaking, it's a privilege. Each step I'll remember this is for those who have experienced the unthinkable, and because of Blue Dragon, have a fighting chance.
Be the first to donate!
